About Us
We had a dream to win just one World Championship but our dream was far exceeded with Elegant April, "Ellie." A once-in-a-lifetime horse, Ellie was an English performance horse before her time. She dominated the English events from 1995 until her retirement in 1999. Although she excelled in the Working Hunter events, she proved her amazing versatility by demonstrating that her World Championship excellence extended also into the Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Hack, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Western Riding. Additionally, she earned points in Western Horsemanship as well as Register of Merits in Western Pleasure and Trail proving that even an extreme English horse is versatile and capable enough to be a successful all-around horse.
So...what began as a dream has lead to a passion to promote the elegance, excellence, and versatility of APHA and AQHA performance horses. While we are a small operation, we focus on breeding and promoting World caliber quality AQHA and APHA prospects.
